Sri L.G.Varadarajulu fondly known as LGV was the chairman of ELGi Equipments Ltd., who determined to deliver high quality products and render service to the world he served. LGV can be really called as the “Father of Corporate Governance” of Coimbatore. He was truly concerned about the stake holders of his company. LGV was an amazing innovator, people’s person and interested in maintaining business standards.
Carrying his vision of ‘giving back to society’ he concentrated more on social work, particularly relating to education, health care and environment. In the year 1987 he decided to start an English medium school at Vellalore, a rural outskirts of Coimbatore at that period, to provide quality education to the under privileged at affordable cost. School was established as a nursery and primary school and began its journey as a recognised matriculation school from 1989 and continues to serve the community.
The school is bestowed with the guidance of 2 generations of ELGi family who were and are very keen to render their BEST to the community. Carrying forward the vision of his father, Dr.Jairam Varadaraj is keen in taking the school to the next level by his prodigious thoughts.
